The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR) is committed to eradicating the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (CSEC) within the tourism sector.

The sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a serious form of sexual violence and a violation of their fundamental rights. Sadly, in many cases, these acts are tolerated or even socially accepted.

At Experiencia 29.11, we fully support the CSEC Code of Conduct.

Several laws in Peru criminalize and penalize activities related to the sexual exploitation of minors:

  • Law No. 29408 – General Tourism Law and its regulations (approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2010-MINCETUR)
  • Law No. 30963 – Amends the Penal Code to strengthen penalties for various forms of sexual exploitation, with special protection for children, adolescents, and women
  • Law No. 30802 – Establishes requirements for the admission of minors into lodging establishments to ensure their protection and safety

If you are aware of any case of sexual exploitation involving individuals under 18 years old, please report it immediately.

At this agency, we do not support or tolerate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, nor any other criminal activity that we may become aware of in the course of our operations, in accordance with Law No. 29408.
